Ingredients
  

  • 4 fillets Sitka salmon 6 oz each skin-on
  • 3 tbsp Maple syrup Or substitute honey
  • 2 tbsp Low-sodium soy sauce Use coconut aminos for gluten-free
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard Adds subtle tang
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced or 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Fresh ginger Grated or ¼ tsp ground ginger
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil Or avocado oil
  • Black pepper To taste
  • 1 whole Lemon Cut into wedges
  • Fresh herbs Dill parsley, or chives for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Bring salmon to room temp: Let salmon rest for 10 minutes; pat dry.
  • Mix glaze: Combine maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon, garlic, and ginger.
  • Marinate: Pour ⅔ glaze over salmon in shallow dish. Let sit 10 minutes.
  • Sear: Heat olive oil in skillet. Sear salmon skin-side down, 3–4 minutes.
  • Bake: Transfer skillet to 400°F oven. Bake 5–7 minutes, basting once.
  • Garnish and serve: Serve with lemon wedges and fresh herbs.
